Dan H. Rizzuto, President PLS # 5227 has been in the surveying field for 36 years and a Florida licensed surveyor for 25 years. He also has an associate in science degree from St. Petersburg College. Mr. Rizzuto has been with Polaris Associates, Inc. for 19 years and has worked with various City and County governments, schools and developers providing survey services. He has experience setting control with G.P.S. for many Florida Department of Transportation projects and right-of-way mapping. Having a vast experience in private land development projects, condominium platting, wet zone surveys, gps and platting.

Vice President
Justin Ferrans - Vice President is the newest addition to the team. He obtained an Associates in Arts (AA) from St. Petersburg College (SPC) and a bachelor's degree at the University of South Florida (USF). He has been working with Polaris for over 20 years with experience in the field as well as the office. Justin has been involved with the Florida Survey and Mapping Society since 2005. He currently holds the Presidential position for the Tampa Bay Chapter, and has also held titles of Tampa Bay Chapter President Elect, and Treasurer. He has earned the Associate of the Year award from 2009-2010 and 2010-2011 (FSMS). Justin currently holds the position of Young Professionals Group-Chairman (FSMS). He is currently involved in the National Society of Professional Surveyors (NSPS). He has been married to his wife Jessicca for 15 years and they have two children Tiffany and Justin. They currently reside in Palm Harbor.

Our Company
Polaris is a firm of 18 employees(2 professional surveyors and mappers), and operates fields crews equipped with state of the art surveying instruments. All field crew chiefs and office technicians are "Certified Survey Technicians" (C.S.T) throught the National Society of Professional Surveyors (NSPS). Crews are supported and instructed by highly experienced land surveyors, office technicians, and the latest data processing and CAD software. Our personnel are CST certified, and are continuing their education in the CST program. We encourage and support personal growth, and education.
Polaris field crews operate full robotic total stations in tandem with survey grade GPS. Field data is acquired and collected digitally, and transferred directly to office computers. Office technicians and surveyors transform raw field data, utilizing coordinate geometry, and CAD, into finished digital files which can be transferred to other systems or plotted on hard copy.
